Patios and Walkways

At Rye Beach Landscaping, we are certified installers of brick pavers through ICPI, the most recognized standards organization in the world for installing concrete pavers into patios and walkways.

The access ways into your home, and the gathering areas where you entertain, say a lot to your guests. A walkway should be inviting and direct, perhaps with a few slow curves or granite steps to ease the grade.
 Rye NH patio design

A patio should be large enough to allow 8 to 10 adults to comfortably mingle around a table and lounge chairs, taking into consideration the ebb and flow of a social gathering.

The pavers should reflect your style and taste as well as complementing your home. Many homes along the seacoast in New Hampshire are classic Capes. A natural clay brick paver or bluestone tile suits an older home like this well, while a tumbled concrete brick paver blends nicely into either a traditional or contemporary setting.

Regardless of style, color, and pattern, your walkway or patio needs to be safe.

The foundation is everything.
We over-build our patio bases with the proper materials, assuring solid compaction and proper drainage underneath the paving stones. We don't cut corners in the build process. We have had the unfortunate experience of having to replace a walkway only several years old that another New Hampshire landscaper in the seacoast area built the wrong way. It's not a good feeling when you purchase something, and then have to pay all over again to fix what should have been built right in the first place. We want your patio, and your good feelings, to last!
